This page is to download a preview novelette for the Roxy Horne series. If you’ve read one (or more) of Roxy Horne’s misadventures, you probably already know how well Roxy and Rafe work together. If you’d like to read how Roxy met Rafe, so many years ago, this is your chance.
If you’re new to Roxy, here is a novelette to get to know her and her college crush Rafe Amato. Either way, I’m hoping you enjoy this introduction to the world of mystery and romance
Strangers in the Knight
Roxy Horne thought she had it all figured out: hot pre-med boyfriend, killer GPA, and a future as shiny as the Vegas skyline. Then reality sucker-punched her in the face—and maybe set it on fire for good measure.
Enter Rafe: tall, dark, smirky, and sporting a pair of eyes that scream “bad decisions ahead.” Roxy knows she should run the other way, but her hormones apparently didn’t get the memo.
Things really go sideways when her best friend Sarina begs for help recovering an ancient ceremonial bong (yes, seriously) that her ex stole—from her professor. If they don’t find it, Sarina’s out of a job and out of college, and Roxy’s on a crash course with chaos.
Now they’re chasing a stoner ex, dodging disaster, and trying not to fall into bed with the wrong people—again. All they have to do is survive one night without setting their lives on fire. No pressure.
